Our team

Srinath is the CEO and Chief Scientist of Unmanned Dynamics. He did his MS in Aerospace from UIUC and is the author of many peer reviewed publications in the fields of flight control. His work has won numerous awards/citations and forms the basis for many of the products at Unmanned Dynamics. A control theorist by training his interests span a wide variety of fields from Electrical to mechanical enginnering allowing him to orchestrate a multidisciplinary research team.

Professor Venkatesan has been a pioneer of helicopter mechanics and control in India. He earned a PhD from The Indian Institute of Science (1980), Masters from IISc (1975), a Msc in Physics from Madras University (1972). He was a Professor at IIT Kanpur untill he retired in 2018 and has now taken up a temporary assignment at IIT Jodhpur. Apart from numerous publications he has acted as a consultant for the HAL rotary wing division.

Mr Sundararajan A.V.

Head - Mechanical Engineering

A.V. Sundararajan graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from the University of Madras, India (1971). Mr Sundararajan has designed special purpose machines his entire life, therefore his input to our Machine Design team comes with an immense value. Mr Sundararajan specialities include the designing of equipment for manufacturing, assembly, processing with appropriate automation viz, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics. A.V. Sundararajan has headed mechanical design teams in multiple countries overlooking a variety of designs (Windmills, CNC machines, Welding robots and Earth movers).

Professor Yaakov received a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technion, Haifa Israel in 1961 and a MS and PhD’s in Engineering from the UCLA in 1967 and 1970 respectively. He is a Professor Emeritus of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. Dr S. Ben-Yaakov has published more than 300 papers and has been granted more than 35 patents. During the period 1985 to 1989 he served as the Chairman of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of Ben-Gurion University. In 1984 Dr. S. Ben-Yaakov established the Power Electronics Laboratory in Ben-Gurion University (PEL-BGU) that has been recognized worldwide as a centre of knowledge and excellence in Analog and Power Electronics.

Surender holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Madras, India and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1975. He began his career in 1975 and worked for a couple of the Big Eight Accounting companies in the Middle East. In 1981 he joined Schlumberger with whom he spent 31 years working in the United Arab Emirates, Iran, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, Central Asia, Africa and the Americas in various senior financial positions. He was the Asia Pacific Controller located in Jakarta for the Well Construction and Intervention segment and was Group Controller based in London for the Seismic segment. Post Schlumberger he was based in Dubai as the CFO for an oil services organization covering the Middle East and North Africa.

Liauda Miseviciute is a Business Development Manager with a deep passion for solving problems in challenging markets. Being a graduate with BA in Anthropology from Vilnius University and MA in European Sciences from the Yerevan State University Miseviciute has more than 10 years experience of managing projects and grants for various NGO’s in Lithuania, Caucasus and Turkey.
