Aquagrid

Aquagrid is a cutting-edge underwater positioning and communication system designed to meet the needs of modern underwater applications. It combines advanced sensor fusion, acoustic triangulation, and robust algorithms to deliver precise navigation and reliable communication for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and other underwater systems.

Aquagrid comes with our C3 system (Stardaust), that allows you to monitor your ROV, AUV position in real time as well as upload mission plans to the vehicle remotely. 


The system is designed to be extremely robust with our Unscented Kalman filter that can operate with a full triangulation solution as observation if 4 or more buoys are in range, however if even 3 or 2 buoys are within range, our tightly coupled solution still provides navigable estimates  of position, velocity and attitude which can be used for closed loop navigation.


If the Aquagrid buoys are equipped with an ESA remote communication terminal (Not part of standard package), you could montor and control your AUV swarm from anywhere in the planet.


The Aquagrid solution is modular and scalable (By default it is meant to cater to 6 AUVs), as you increase the number of surface buoys, you increase the system range, accuracy and ability to coordinate with more AUVs


Aquagrid is designed to provide the accuracy of Long Baseline (LBL) with the ease of deployment of Short Baseline (SBL)


Untethering your ROV is essential if you want to maneuver around a coral reef or an oil rig and take pictures. Aquagrid offers the possibility of converting your ROV into an AUV


Aquagrid is a cornerstone of our maritime security proposal which was shortlisted in a contest sponsored by the European Defense Agency (EDA)
